Resources

Within the Empowering SEN Voices (SENvoice) project, three key educational resources will be developed to support teachers in adapting Science and Environmental Studies lessons for primary school students with learning difficulties, mild ASD, and AD/HD.

The first is the SENvoice Methodology – a structured guide that includes tools for screening, inclusive teaching strategies, and assessment instruments for monitoring students’ progress.

Two complementary toolkits – Science for All (S4ALL) and Environment Studies for All (ES4ALL) – will offer model lessons, worksheets, and practical classroom materials designed and tested by teachers across Romania, Turkey, and Bulgaria. These resources will be translated into all partner languages and made freely accessible to the educational community.

The project also includes international training events, pilot teaching sessions, and validation workshops to ensure the quality and sustainability of all developed materials.

TIPS FOR TEACHERS

Practical recommendations for supporting students with different learning profiles

In addition to the main project outputs, Empowering SEN Voices also offers a set of practical tips for teachers working with students with different learning profiles.

Each guide includes concrete classroom strategies, examples, and visual supports tailored to five key profiles: Autism (ASD), ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dysgraphia.

The materials are available in Romanian, Turkish, Bulgarian and English, with additional translations to follow, and can be accessed as online presentations or downloaded for classroom use.

Autism (ASD)

Structure, visual supports, calm routines, predictable transitions.

ADHD

Movement breaks, visual schedules, clear instructions.

Dyslexia

Multisensory reading, text-to-speech, adapted worksheets.

Dyscalculia

Concrete materials, gradual logic steps, visual organisers.

Dysgraphia

Handwriting support, typing options, alternative assessments.

Sen methodology

The SENvoice Methodology is a key output of the Erasmus+ project “Empowering SEN Voices,” designed to support teachers in developing inclusive, student-centred learning environments for primary school children with learning difficulties, ASD, and ADHD. The document provides a structured framework, practical strategies, and concrete tools that can be directly implemented in classroom practice and adapted to different educational contexts.
